Pumpkin Time

Tonight we had our first pumpkin of the season. Billy and I couldn't decide between making a Halloween treat or completing a Halloween craft so we decided to get a pumpkin because it's both. There are so many decorative ideas for pumpkins now-a-days that we will likely have several displayed around the house. Plus, we can't get enough of the pumpkin seeds for snacks! For tonight's pumpkin we picked up a kit of none other than Minnie Mouse. Our daughter LOVES Minnie Mouse so we couldn't pass it up. I think it's adorable. Chloe and Bruiser assisted in scooping out the guts and then we painted it pink together. Then I cleaned all of the seeds and set them out to dry along with the pinkie pumpkin. Bath time, ghost jammers, hair and teeth brushed, always followed up with a vitamin and we were ready to make our Minnie Pumpkin. Billy punched the head, arms, and legs into her and Chloe was ecstatic. The seeds are drying out as we speak and the Princess is soundly sleeping. I absolutely adore sharing times like these with her and I believe she enjoys them just as much.
